Manousos G. Voloudakis
Ministry of Administrative Reform and e- Governance
Born in 1966, he is an economist and he was elected as Member of Parliament for Chania representing the N.D. political party in September 2007 and in May and June 2012. In the period 2005-2006 he has served as Secretary-General of Commerce in the Ministry of Development. He has a degree from the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Athens and a master’s degree in Political Economy from the University of Essex, U.K. Before entering into politics he has worked in the private sector, namely in the companies RUSVAR HOLDINGS B.V, in the beverage manufacture Metaxa S.A. and in ELVAL S.A. of the Viohalko Group, where he served as Deputy General Director. After the 2009 elections, he worked once again in the private sector as a business consultant in financial affairs. In January 2010 he took the post of the Secretary of New Technologies, Research and Innovation of N.D., from which he resigned in December 2011 in order to participate in the parliamentary elections. He speaks English, French and Spanish.
On June 21, 2012 he was sworn as Deputy Minister of Administrative Reform and Electronic Government.
He is married to the attorney Sevi Amanatidou and he is the father of two sons, Giorgos and Sifis.
